Eros and the Ancestors Meditation
This 10-minute guided meditation is an invitation to slow down and turn inward.
We begin with gentle body awareness and mindfulness, allowing the breath to settle and the nervous system to soften. From there, the meditation moves into guided imagery, opening awareness through the body and the inner senses.
As the practice deepens, attention is brought to the space of the third eye-a place of intuition, insight, and inner listening. From this space, you are guided to connect with spirit and ancestral presence, meeting what arises with curiosity and respect.
In the final part of the meditation, we explore the relationship between psyche and Eros-the life force of connection, creativity, and desire. You’ll be invited to hold a quiet question within yourself, allowing insight to emerge in its own time rather than forcing an answer.
This meditation is not about effort or achievement. It’s an offering of presence, imagination, and listening.
You may wish to listen somewhere quiet and comfortable. If at any point you feel distracted or drift away, that’s completely okay-simply return to the sound of the voice or the breath.
