About DreamSomatix™

DreamSomatix™ exists because the people who carry the most responsibility sometimes have the least support in understanding themselves.

Founders make decisions that affect hundreds of people. Executives absorb pressure that never fully turns off. Couples who built something meaningful together watch it erode under the weight of unspoken frustration. Business partners who once shared a vision now share a conflict.

These are not problems that standard therapy is designed to solve. Talk therapy helps. For the kind of complexity our clients carry, depth is required - the kind that comes from understanding not just what you think, what your body knows, what your patterns reveal, and what your unconscious mind is trying to tell you.

DreamSomatix™ is a private psychotherapy practice built on Dream Psychotherapy©, a proprietary clinical method integrating Jungian oriented dreamwork, somatic awareness, and licensed psychotherapy. We are a practice in the Bay Area offering this integration.

Meet the Founder: Marilyn D. Manzi, MA, LMFT

I work with people who have spent years being the strong one, the responsible one, the one everyone turns to. They come to me when the internal cost of carrying that role has become impossible to ignore - when sleep is disrupted, when a relationship is unraveling, when a decision feels paralyzing, or when they sense something important trying to surface that thinking alone can't access.

I don't offer quick fixes or coping strategies. I offer a confidential space where the whole person is welcome - including the parts that don't perform well, that aren't polished, that carry old wounds and current fears. Through careful attention, reflective sessions, and the integration of somatic and dream-based clinical work, my clients develop the clarity, boundaries, and self-knowledge that transform not just their decisions, who they are as leaders, partners, and people.

The work I do is slow by design. Real change - the kind that holds under pressure - doesn't happen in a single session or a weekend retreat. It happens through consistent, weekly engagement with someone who is paying attention to more than your words.
